Bacon Lardons are an ingredient that I think gets over looked quite often. But is actually an ingredient that I use for everything, Pasta, Quiche, Salads you name it I have probably put them with it but could not believe that I had not thought of Roast Potatoes with them, Rosemary yes but lardons never. Tony from @Fitfatfunfood has now revolutionised probably all my Sunday Roasts now with simply adding lardons to them.
Ingredients:
Potatoes
200g Lane Farm smoked bacon lardons
1 tbs rosemary
Method
- Make your usual roast potato recipe
- 15 minutes before ready, throw in 150g of lardons and a tablespoon of chopped fresh rosemary
- Give them a mix and roast for a further 15 minutes
